2013 UGA Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art

Amanda Proctor is in her first year with the CORE Concert Dance Company. She trained for 9 years as a competitive gymnast in West Georgia before joining her high school Color Guard where she was exposed to modern dance. Prior to graduating from UGA with her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts with emphasis in Ceramics, Amanda took modern technique classes in the dance department. She brings diversity to the group with her visual arts background and gymnastics training.

Francesca Mokry is in her first year with the CORE Concert Dance Company and is a Freshman from Fayetteville, Georgia. Francesca has trained and performed with Carla’s Dance Factory for fifteen years and has studied during a summer intensive at Broadway Dance Center.

Prior to her arrival at UGA, Tsoler Terzian danced with Atlanta Ballet, gloATL, and the St. Pius X Catholic High School Dance Department. She spent four consecutive summers at Atlanta Ballet's summer intensive and two summers with gloATL. At UGA, she has performed in the Young Choreographers Series Concert in November 2013 at UGA. Tsoler is passionate about contemporary movement and super excited for her first performance with Core Concert Dance Company. 

2014 Dietetics & Consumer Foods Double Major -Dance Minor  Larkin has been dancing since 4 years of age. Trained under former CORE members throughout middle and high school in the Athens area. Was a member of CORE in 2008, but was unable to finish the season due to an injury. She has been working with Bala on and off for over 8 years and is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her again on the stage. "I am in love with the body and with the mindful meditation of dance." She hopes to use her training in dance as inspiration for her present and future work in health and nutrition. "Dance has helped me better connect my mind and body, which has most certainly improved my physical and mental health and well being. I hope to use these experiences to help others improve their self-appreciation and overall health." 

Mollie Henry is in her first year with CORE Concert Dance Company and is a Junior from Duluth, Georgia. Mollie is pursuing a UGA Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance and will graduate in May, 2015. She has performed and traveled with Dance Arts Centre Performing Arts Company throughout the Southeast, as well as both choreographed and performed in the 2013 Young Choreographer’s Series Concert.

Mirna Minkov is in her third year with CORE Concert Dance Company and is thrilled to have the honor to work with such a passionate group of dancers.  She has performed with CORE at Dixon Place Theatre in New York City through the Laban Institute for Movement Studies' MOSAIC, and has choreographed for and performed in the 2013 Senior Exit & Young Choreographer's Series Concert.  Above all, Mirna aspires to attain artistry and honesty through movement.

Victoria Faust had the privilege of training under director Bala Sarasvati at the age of 18. Since then, she went on to gain extensive dance training from The Ailey School's Certificate Program, NYC. She is currently living and working in Athens as a personal health coach (www.victoriafaust.com) and is also an instructor/choreographer for several local dance studios. This is Victoria's first season working with CORE and is excited to be working with Bala once again.

Mary Beth Stinson

2016  UGA Bachelor of Arts in Dance

Mary Beth Stinson is in her first year of CORE Concert Dance Company and excited to be able to work with such a strong group of dancers. She trained for ten years with Great Gig Dance company in Kennesaw and was an instructor there for two years before attending the University of Georgia. Mary Beth performed in the 2013 Young Choreographer's Series and Senior Exit Concert. She is very passionate about dance, and very thrilled for her first performance with CORE. 

2014 UGA Bachelor of the Arts Dance 

Tyler Williams is a first year CORE member and a Senior from Queens, New York City. Dancing since the age of five, Tyler has extensive training in modern Dance. She attended Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Queens, NY and graduated in 2010 with an Arts endorsed regents diploma. She holds and Associates Degree in Dance from Dean College in Franklin, MA and will be graduating from UGA with A Bachelor of Arts in Dance May, 2014.She has performed in the Young Choreographers Series 2013 and choreographed for Senior Exit 2013.
